Feynan Ecolodge allows you reconnect with nature and reacquaint yourself with the simplicity of life. Savour the joy of waking up to the chirping of birds, the sun rising over the mountains and feast on a nourishing Arabic breakfast as the shepherds guide goats in search of theirs. Find a good reading spot at one of the serene terraces and marvel at the surroundings, or indulge in one of the many activities offered in the reserve. And at night, unwind as the candlelit lodge flickers, then count the shooting stars as you lay under the endless bed of stars.
Each of the 26 guestrooms at Feynan is unique, designed around a series of internal courtyards reminiscent of the ancient caravanseri or inns on the silk routes through the desert. Whichever distinctive room you choose, you will enjoy ambient lighting from candles tucked in alcoves around the room and solar-heated showers in your private en-suite bathroom. Solar generated electricity is provided in the bathrooms for your convenience.
Enjoy healthy vegetarian dishes and a wide selection of homemade jams and pickles that incorporate fresh local produce in a delectable way. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Feynan Ecolodge strives to acquire its produce and ingredients as much as possible from nearby shops and farms. The bread served at the lodge is supplied by Um Khalid, a Bedouin mother of five from the local community who bakes the flat bread. A small café menu is also available outside of mealtimes serving a selection of drinks, sandwiches, salads and desserts.
